Have you ever tried to make the Chinese staircase bracelet and it was too complicated for you? Well here is and alternative that is much easier and looks exactly like it if you do it right.

Steps

  1. Braid thick yarn (the kind you knit with) one time. Or obtain one strand of thick yarn if you are satisfied with the thickness already.
  2. Pick your color(s) of thin thread.
  3. Wrap it around your wrist 3 times. (1 strand)
  4. Cut 3 other strands as long as the other.
  5. Tie thread to thick yarn.
  6. Wrap to where there is no white spaces.
  7. Switch off colors after desired length of 1st color (if more than 1).
  8. When finished switching off colors, tie to yarn.
  9. You can tie the yarn together. You might like to take more yarn to tie them together.
  10. Wear and show off to friends!
