Change Your Windows Service Pack

Upgrading your computer's service pack can be hard, and often, people don't know how to perform such an action. Well I'm going to show you how to change to service pack 3, for free with no download!

Steps

  1. Open the start menu and click run.
  2. Then type in: regedit
  3. From there click: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / System / Controlset001 / Control / Windows
  4. Open CSDVersion
  5. Type in 300
  6. Press Okay
  7. Restart your Windows

Tips

  • Follow the steps exactly so you don't mess up your computer.
  • To see your service pack, right click Computer, and go into Properties.

Warnings

  • You have to restart your computer after the change has taken place, for the upgrade to work.
