Install Apple App Store on Android

It's not possible to install the Apple App Store or run iOS apps on an Android, but you can browse the Apple App Store from your Android device. Using a third-party app to browse the Apple App Store might sound weird, but it can actually be a lot faster than the official App Store. You can also look for comparable apps available on Android.

Steps

  1. Download the "Apps Explorer" app from the Google Play Store. This is a free application that allows you to browse iTunes apps on the Apple App Store. You cannot download these apps to your Android device, but you can use the app to look for Android versions and see the details of Apple apps.
  2. Start "Apps Explorer". This will load the list of the most popular paid apps on the Apple App Store.
  3. Use the drop-down menus to change the view. The menus at the top of the apps list allow you to choose between free and paid apps, as well as sort by popularity and genre.
  4. Tap an app to see details. This will load the app description as well as screenshots.
  5. Tap the "Share" button in the upper-right to search and share. Tapping this button will open a menu with several different options.
    • "Search App on Market" - This will search the Google Play Store for the title of the app. You may be able to find the same app or a comparable one for your device this way.
    • "Search Author on Market" - This will search the Google Play Store for the developer of the app.
    • "Search App on Google" - This will run a Google search on the app title.
    • "Share App info" - This will open a list of sharing methods, depending on the apps you have installed. Sharing will send the recipient a link to the Apple App Store for that app.
  6. Open the app's page in the App Store website. If you want to purchase the app for your Apple device, tap the button at the bottom of the details page to open your browser. The page for the app will open, allowing you to sign in with your Apple ID and purchase it.
