Install Flash Player in Windows Without Administrative Rights

To view YouTube and other streaming videos you need flash player installed. To install flash player in Windows you need Administrative rights. This article tell you how to install flash player in Firefox browser without administrative rights and thus enabling you to watch your favorite videos.

Steps

  1. Download the Firefox browser from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and install it. Installing Firefox does not need admin rights.
  2. Install any compression utility like winrar or 7zip if you don't have it installed.
  3. Download a file which is the XPI archive of flash player.
  4. Unpack it using any above mentioned compression utility to a temporary folder.
  5. From this folder copy these two files NPSWF32.dll and flash-player.xpt to the folder named Plug-ins which can be found in the folder where you have installed Firefox. e.g.: C:\Program Files\Firefox\plugins
  6. Open Firefox and enjoy watching videos.
