Change a TP Link Wireless Password
Do you have a TP-Link router and you don't know how to secure your Wi-Fi connection? This article will teach you how to set a password to your Wi-Fi network so no one can break into your network.
Steps
- Go to the router's control panel. To do this, navigate http://192.168.1.1/ in your browser.
- Type in your username and password. The default is "admin" for both of the fields.
- Choose "Interface Setup" from above. Then, choose "Wireless" as shown in the illustration.
- Change your password in the "Pre-Shared Key" field.
- Click on the "Save" button. You are done!
Warnings
- Don't try to change anything in the router's control panel.
