Steps

  1. Open your iPhone or iPad’s Settings. Look for the gray gear icon, typically located on your home screen.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Scroll down and tap Language & Region.
  4. Tap iPhone Language.
    • If you’re on an iPad, the link will say iPad Language.
  5. Select a language. You can either scroll down until you find it, or use the Search box at the top of the screen.
  6. Tap Done.
  7. Tap Change to <language> to confirm your change. The screen will turn black for a moment as your device’s language settings update. When the change is complete, you’ll return to the General Settings menu, which now displays in the new language.
  8. Open Skype. It’s the blue and white icon with an “S” typically found on your home screen. Skype will now appear in your device’s updated language.
