Get the Lifetime Wish You Want in the Sims 3

The lifetime Wishes in The Sims 3 seem too random for your tastes? You seem to never be able to get the Lifetime Wish you want? Or your sim just wouldn't want that wish? The Lifetime Wishes suggested in Create a Sim are selected based on the personality traits of your sim, and some wishes are more rare than others. See below how to get the wish you want so bad for your sim.

Steps
- Choose the Lifetime Wish before you choose the traits. There are 32 lifetime wishes available for your sim, listed in the table below. There are much more traits than wishes. If you pick the traits first, it will narrow down the list of Lifetime Wishes for you.
- Check on the table below what traits link to the lifetime wish you want. Pick one or two of these traits for your sim.
- Fill the other trait slots with whatever traits you want.
(Note: Do not pick too many traits that are linked to another lifetime wish you want, or that ones might push your desired wish down the priority table). - See if the Lifetime Wish you want shows up in the five suggested. If they do not, reroll your wishes a couple times.
- To reroll your Lifetime Wishes available, enter the trait selection screen and hit cancel.
- If the desired lifetime wish does not show up, switch one trait for one more trait linked to the main wish.
- If it still doesn't show up, go to 'Choose Lifetime Wish.' If you know the name of the wish, scroll down until you find it.
Tips
- Some traits does not have any lifetime wish associated to them. They do not have any X on their rows. Pick these to get those really rare wishes.
- If you do different characters such as party animal, mean spirited snob or rock star, your computer could start slowing down because the computer gets mixed up with whether it's good or bad.
