Do you want to make a cool and creative case for you iPhone for a very cheap price? With this article I can tell you how to make a phone case that is awesome and your style!

Steps

  1. Place your iPhone against a small piece of cardboard.
  2. Trace the outline of your iPhone.
  3. Mark the {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} distance from iPhone outline to both sides and the bottom part of the cardboard.
  4. Trace the outline and cut along the shape of the extended outline.
  5. Crease the bottom {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} extension up to the point of the original iPhone outline.
  6. Cut along the sides of the crease of the bottom fold only up to the extent of the original iPhone outline. This will serve as the flap for your bottom fold.
  7. Crease the side extensions.
  8. While holding the side creases in place, fold the bottom crease up so that it stands against the side creases. From there, fold the bottom fold flaps inward.
  9. Glue or tape the bottom flaps to the side creases. By now, your iPhone duct tape cover should have a more or less impressive shape.
  10. Cut a strip of cardboard to hold your iPhone in place. Make sure that it has the right amount of side flap from each side.
  11. Tape both ends of the cardboard strip to the side creases.
  12. Cover the entire thing in duct tape.
  13. Put your own designs on the cover.
  14. Score out portions for your iPhone home button and back camera. You’re done!
  15. Finished.
