Pandora allows you create and manage bookmarks of specific songs or artists, so that you can keep going back to them at any time you wish. Creating a bookmark will allow you to find the item later without affecting your playlists like a Thumbs Up does. You can manage your bookmarks from the Pandora app and the Pandora website, but not on home devices like a Roku or your Smart TV.

Steps

Using the Pandora App

  1. Install the Pandora app on your mobile device. The Pandora app is available for free from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
  2. Sign into the Pandora app with your Pandora account. You'll need to be signed in with your free account in order to access your bookmarks.
    • Tap "Sign Up" and follow the prompts to create a new account if you don't have one. See Make a Pandora Account for more detailed instructions.
  3. Create some bookmarks. You can create bookmarks from any artist or track:
    • Tap the album art for the song that is currently playing.
    • Tap the "..." or "⋮" button.
    • Select "Bookmark" to create a bookmark.
  4. Open your Profile screen. If you're currently playing a song, tap the "<" button in the upper-right corner. Tap the "☰" button and then select "Profile."
    • On the iPad, just tap the silhouette button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
  5. Tap the "Bookmarks" button. This will display all of your saved bookmarks.
    • You can also tap "Likes" to see the songs that you've given a thumbs up for. Pandora considers Likes and Bookmarks to be the same, even though they're categorized differently.
  6. Tap a bookmark to open it. This will show more details, and allow you to quickly view the artist's page.
  7. Press and hold a bookmark to delete it. After a moment, the "Delete" button will appear. Tap this button to remove the bookmark.[1]

Using the Pandora Website

  1. Log into the Pandora website. Visit pandora.com and click "log in" to sign in with your Pandora account.
    • If you don't have a Pandora account, you can create one for free from the Pandora homepage. See Make a Pandora Account for more detailed instructions.
  2. Start playing some music. You'll need to be playing a song in order to like it. You can enter a song, artist, or genre into the "Create Station" field in the upper-left corner to begin playing music.
  3. Click the song or artist name to open the details page. When you're using the website version of Pandora, you can only Like or Dislike songs. There is no "Bookmark" feature like there is on mobile devices. When you like a song, it will appear in the Likes list on your mobile device instead of the Bookmarks list.
    • Even though they have different names and are found in different places, Likes and Bookmarks generally act the same way.
  4. Click the "Like this track/artist/album" button. You'll find this underneath the album art or band picture.
    • Even though this has a picture of a Thumbs Up, and it adds the item to your Likes list, this is not the same as giving the song a Thumbs Up while it is playing. It will not affect how your stations are created like giving a Thumbs Up does.
  5. Click your account name and select "My Profile." This will open your profile page.
  6. Click the "Likes" category in your profile. This will display the songs, artists, and albums that you have given a thumbs up for.
  7. Click and item in your Likes list to view more details. You'll be able to see lyrics, features, similar tracks, comments, and links to buy.
  8. Click the "Undo Like" button to remove the Like for that item. This will remove the song, artist, or album from your Likes list.
  9. Click the "Bookmarks" category in your profile screen to see your Bookmarks. These are the bookmarks you created on the mobile app or on the old version of the website; it is not possible to add bookmarks from the current version of the Pandora website.[2]
  10. Delete a bookmark from the list. Click the ▼ button next to the "Play a Sample" button and select "Delete" to remove the bookmark from your list.

Tips

  • You cannot manage your Likes or Bookmarks on home listening devices like Roku, smart TVs, Blu-ray players, etc. You can only manage your Likes and Bookmarks from the mobile app or website.
