This easy to understand tutorial will teach you how to play "No One," a popular song by Alicia Keys, on the keyboard. All you need is a piano and the very basic knowledge of piano notes.

Steps

  1. Set yourself up at the piano. You will only need to use your right hand in this song, so that should provide some relief. Also, you should know that there is only one small piano repetition, so once you know the few notes in it, you can just play it over and over and that's the whole song on the piano.
  2. Print out this article.
  3. Play the following notes:
    • G sharp- G sharp- E- B- G sharp- E- B (in the next octave, farther down left on the piano)- D sharp- F sharp- G sharp- F sharp- B- G sharp- F sharp- D sharp- C sharp- E- G sharp- E- B- G sharp- E- C sharp- A( to the left of the lower B that I talked about before, lower down on the keyboard)- C sharp- E- C sharp- A- E- C sharp- A( same A as before)
  4. From here on in, you just repeat the set of notes.
  5. Good Luck!!

Tips

  • It's much easier to learn the song if you've heard it before
  • If you can't learn this way, then I recommend using YouTube and finding a tutorial on how to play this song.
  • The B and two A notes that are in parentheses next to have to be played an octave lower than the other notes, I just attempted to explain it without appropriate piano terminology.

Things You'll Need

  • A piano or keyboard
  • Some kind of knowledge of piano, if you don't have this, I provided a website to visit which can very quickly teach you those things.
  • Your finger numbering and any other notes you know to help with the song.
