Make Chinese Pakoras

This recipe uses Chinese Sauces and Chinese vegetables and its delicious and very easy to make. Perfect for Parties and get togethers.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Maida
  • 1 Egg
  • Chinese Sauces (1 Teaspoon chilli sauce, 1 teaspoon soy sauce)
  • Vegetables (Your Choice)
  • Ginger garlic paste (1 teaspoon)
  • Salt (To taste) , Black pepper (1/2 Teaspoon)
  • 1 Teaspoon Rice Flour, 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Frying Pan, Spoon to mix, Serving Plate

Steps

  1. Wash and chop Spring Onions, Capsicum and Cabbage.
  2. Take Maida in a bowl and add some water & one egg to it to make batter.
  3. Add Salt, Black Pepper, Chinese Sauces, Baking Powder, Rice Flour, and Ginger Garlic paste to the batter and mix well.
  4. Mix the chopped vegetable pieces in batter.
  5. Fry spoonfuls of the batter in hot oil till they become golden-brown.
  6. Take them out on paper towel.
  7. Sprinkle Roasted Peanuts and serve with Chinese Sauces.
  8. Finished.

Tips

  • Add Water to the Batter to adjust its consistency. It should be close to dripping consistency but not thick either.
  • You can also use Potatoes, Carrots, Cauliflower, Broccoli or any other vegetable you like.

Warnings

  • Be careful when frying as the oil is extremely Hot.
