Make a Scary Pop up Video
Template:StubScreamers are videos that are made to scare you in a brief period of time. A video or game that starts out as a peaceful scene MAY be a screamer. If you got pranked by somebody and want to get them back, but don't know where to start, this is the article for you. Of course making one will require preparation, and you need to be able to withstand the terror of the picture. Lets get started.
Steps
- The most important thing is the creepy picture. The Face In The Middle of the Dark is a good picture. DO NOT use The Exorcist. People will leave hate comments about it.
- Now you need a video to use for your neutral part of the movie. Be creative, it can be an optical illusion, ghost video, video game trailer, movie trailer, YouTube Poop, anything you want.
- You need a video editor like Microsoft movie maker.
- All good screamers need a sound. Most likely a scream or a roar.
- Compile your video in an editor, cut off the end of the video and add the picture. Under that add the sound effect. When you're done editing, save it to .wmv and post it on the internet, or send it to somebody.
Tips
- If you post it on a social networking site like youtube, don't disable comments, that can give it away, of course you can delete the comments that could give it away, but that might be all of them.
- Try to make your video unique. Try to make it less suspecting, like don't say "Look closer..." or "Make sure your volume is up".
- If you want you can lower the volume, but that could make them suspect it as a screamer.
- Try using a picture no one has used before, or one that isn't very common.
- Try to make the title something cute like a baby kitten so people will be tricked into watching it.
- Don't be stupid make sure that when you select the part of the video you want to be the image on youtube don't pick the end part because it is the screamer picture and they will know right away!
- The sound doesn't have to be just a horror movie scream. It could be a screaming part of a screamo or death metal song.
- Also don't give ANY hints.
- The picture doesn't have to be scary. It could be a funny picture, like George Bush, Homer Simpson, Rick Astley, Spiderman, The Grinch. The possibilities are endless.
- Don't ever put any words like creepy, scary, or any word that makes it obvious that it is a screamer. People would suspect that it would shock them in the end. Instead use words like Innocent, Happy, Sunshine and Smiles. For example "Happy, Sunshine song!"
Warnings
- If you post it on a social networking site like youtube, be ready for a lot of bad comments.
- Don't scare anyone "special" like a girlfriend/boyfriend or grandparent, unless you know they can take it.
- Beware, if you scare someone, they could make one themselves.
- Don't scare young kids under 10, they may cry, which will get you in trouble.

- Sound Effect like a scream (optional)
- Movie Editor
- Neutral Movie that fills up the rest of your film besides the screamer.
