Moving a Rubik's cube like a dream is possible, even when yours seems stuck and stiff. This article will explain how to take it apart and improve its working performance (this is not about solving puzzles, but about improving the cube's working ability).

Steps

  1. Rotate the top side 45 degrees. Put your finger, or some other object under the middle cube.
  2. When it's popped off, take all of the cube pieces out.
  3. Take some Heavy duty silicone spray and spray the pieces .
  4. When done, put all the cubes back. Turn all the sides to work it up.
  5. Enjoy your new (or old) and improved Rubik's cube. With simply a flick of a finger, the Rubik's cube should turn swiftly and with ease.
  6. Finished.

Tips

  • Do not put Vaseline on your cube as it will dissolve the plastic.
  • When solving the cube, try not to move your whole hand as part of the motion. This will make you tired and slower. Instead, try to use your fingers.
  • While you are fixing your cube, please place the cube pieces back in order and solve it the correct way!

Warnings

  • This will not make your cube skills any better. It will just make the cube move faster.
  • This may make your Rubik's cube a little too loose; use less and adjust as needed.
