Fry a Hot Dog

Frying may not be the most common method for cooking a hot dog, but it is a delicious way to cook one. You can learn how to do it pretty easily, in only a few simple steps. Read on to learn how.

Ingredients

  • Hot dogs
  • 1 ml oil
  • Any desired sauce

Steps

  1. Buy your preferred hot dog from any supermarket/ butcher.
  2. In a frying pan, pour about 10ml of oil and wait for it to start sizzling. To test if it's hot enough splash a drop of water on the pan and it will start splattering.
  3. Carefully place the hot dog into the pan. Be careful of the splattering oil. Slowly the colour of the hot dog will change. It will become slightly golden brown. You know when it's ready by slitting a knife into it easily.
    • You could flavor the hot dog with various sauces such as BBQ sauce, Ketchup,etc. This is an optional step. Once the hot dog is fried pour some sauce into the pan and toss it around. Make sure the sausage is coated in it.
  4. Serve in a plate and enjoy your meal.
