Difference between revisions of "Paint a Wall"

Lay a canvas sheet on the floor and secure it with blue painter's tape. Remove switch plates and electrical outlet covers, and cover anything you don't want to paint with painter's tape. Use a pole-sander with 120-grit sandpaper to sand the walls. Clean the walls with warm water and some detergent. Patch holes with caulk. Dip a roller into a primer and run it along your wall, then wait until the primer has dried. Coat the bristles of a two-inch angled brush a third of the way down the brush, then apply the paint along the taped areas. Fill a tray with paint, then soak your roller, remove any excess paint, and roll the paint onto the wall in a "W" shape. Fill in empty patches of the wall. Peel of the painter's tape while the paint is still wet.
