Make Chinese Chicken Corn Soup

Chinese chicken corn soup is delicious and nutritious. It contains chicken meat, egg and tasty corn. With a slight tang to its taste, this soup makes a nice starter for a Chinese-themed meal or an excellent quick soup when in a hurry for something tasty and healthy.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of corn niblets
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • Cream of corn
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 cup chicken stock

Steps

  1. Bring the chicken stock to a boil.
  2. Add the can of corn niblets and stir.
  3. Wait until the water boils again. Then add the cream of corn.
  4. Beat the eggs.
  5. Add the cubed chicken.
  6. When the water boils again, add the beaten egg slowly, while stirring.
  7. Add the sesame oil, pepper, and salt to taste. Add more if desired. Once combined enough (taste to test), the soup is ready to serve.

Tips

  • To make the soup thicker, add cornstarch mixed with cold water in a ratio of 1:2.
