If your hair always falls out, make this bun, smart and tight for a night out, or messy and cool for school.

Steps

  1. Tilt your head forward and gather all your hair tightly together in your hand.
  2. Tilt your head back up and loosen your grasp a bit, so it doesn't hurt your head.
  3. Tie it up in a high ponytail in the centre of your head, tight for neat, loose for messy. (If you want it messy, don't worry if it falls on one side or collapses.)
  4. For a neat bun, hold your ponytail out to the back behind you, and then wrap your hair around the base of your ponytail. Secure in place with a hair tie, kirby grips/bobby pins, and hairspray for special occasions. A neat bun is done.
  5. For a messy bun, get your ponytail, fold it under, and depending on how long it is fold it under again. Secure in place with a hair tie, and some bobby pins if needed.
  6. Then hold your bun and shake it vertically up and down your head so it becomes looser.
  7. Pull out a few strands at the front, to make it look more relaxed.
  8. Finished.
