Pair HMDX Wireless Speakers

HMDX wireless speakers are a great way to listen to music anywhere and anytime on the go. HMDX wireless speakers connect to your devices wirelessly via Bluetooth so you can move around while you play and share music with people. Connecting and pairing it with your phone, laptop, or tablet is quick and easy.

Steps

  1. Turn on your HMDX wireless speakers. Slide the Power switch located at the top of the speaker. The light indicator at the lower part of it will begin to flash, notifying you that it is booting up.
  2. Switch on the Bluetooth feature on your device. How you open the Bluetooth will vary depending on what device you’re using (whether it’s a phone, tablet, or a computer) and the make and model, but the Bluetooth of most devices can be enabled on the device’s settings.
    • You can refer to your device’s manual for more information on how to turn its Bluetooth on.
  3. Have your device scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. This can be done on the same settings screen used to activate the Bluetooth on your device. On the list of devices found, look for the name of the HMDX speaker you’re using, like “JAM Classic” or “HMDX Rave.”
  4. Select the HMDX speaker from the list. On the the HMDX speaker, you’ll notice that the indicator light quickly flashes a blue light; this means that it’s currently pairing with your device.
    • Once the HMDX has finished pairing and successfully connects with your device, the indicator light will change and slowly flash a blue light.

Tips

  • Pairing only needs to be done once. Your device and your HMDX speaker will automatically connect the next time it detects each other via Bluetooth.
  • Most Bluetooth have a working range of around {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}}. If you separate your HMDX speakers from the device it’s connected out of its working range, it will get disconnected.
  • Pairing HMDX speakers doesn’t require any passcode.
