This wikiHow teaches you how to view email messages that you saved to the Archive folder in the Apple Mail app on your iPhone. Not all mail apps, such as Gmail, or accounts support archived email.

10 Second Summary

1. Open the Mail app.
2. Tap Mailboxes if you're not on the "Mailboxes" page.
3. Scroll down and tap Archive.

Steps

Viewing Archived Mail

  1. Open the Mail app. It's a blue app with the image of a sealed, white envelope.
  2. Tap Mailboxes. It's in the upper-left corner of the screen.
    • If Mail opens to the "Mailboxes" screen, this step is unnecessary.
  3. Scroll down and tap Archive. A mailbox labeled "Archive" will appear under each account that supports archived email.
    • Each section on the "Mailboxes" page is labeled with an account name, such as "iCloud." Scroll down and tap Archive under each account to view all of your archived emails.
    • You can Add-an-Email-Account-to-Your-iPhone under Settings.
