Steps
- Get the Eon Flute. You get the Eon Flute after completing the Primal Groudon/Kyogre storyline at Sootopolis City.
- Have three Pokémon in your party with Raise Friendship Level in the Pokémon Games. You can have your Pokémon's happiness level rated from a friendship rater in Verdanturf Town and Pacifidlog Town.
- Use the Eon Flute to summon Latios/Latias and soar into the sky.
- Soar to Sootopolis City. Nearby, you'll find a cave called the Nameless Cavern. Land here.
- Go inside the cave, where you'll find a portal. Interact with the portal to encounter Uxie, Mesprit, or Azelf, depending on the time of day. Uxie appears from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Azelf appears from 9:00 PM to 3:59 AM, and Mesprit appears from 4:00 AM to 7:59 PM.

Tips
- While soaring, you can press B to soar faster.
- Save before battling. If you accidentally KO them or run out of Poké Balls, you can restart the game and try again.
- Have Pokémon with moves that inflict status effects such as Sleep and Paralysis. Status effects will make it easier to catch them.
- Stock up on plenty of Ultra Balls. You'll also want to stock up on Dusk Balls if you're playing at night. You can also keep switching out and then use Timer Balls.
- They're at level 50, so make sure you have Pokémon of at least that level.
Warnings
- Don't reset your console's clock, as this will result in all time-based events stopping for 24 hours.
- While soaring, you may encounter Pokémon such as Rufflet.
