Did you know that you can make your hair shine with the flowers and leaves picked from your own garden? Hibiscus is used in Ayurveda to make hair protective oils. This hair care recipe gently cleans your hair leaving it soft and silky.

Steps

  1. Pick fresh hibiscus flowers and leaves.
  2. Wash the leaves to remove any dirt present on them.
  3. Gently remove petals from the flowers.
  4. Put the leaves and petals in a container.
  5. Add half cup of water.
  6. Soak them for 10-15 minutes. This makes them soft and tender.
  7. Put them in a blender and blend until smooth.
  8. You'll get a very sticky paste. Collect the paste in a container.Your Hibiscus shampoo is ready now.
  9. Use this to get soft and silky hair.

Tips

  • Use only the petals of the flower.
  • This shampoo is very mild and can be used for children.
  • This shampoo must be used within 5 hours.
  • Do not pour more water, just half a cup should do.
