Magic Armor, also known as the "invisible armor" in the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, isn't easy to acquire. It's a complicated side quest that begins in the Lakebed Temple and ends in a Malo Mart. See Step 1 to get started.

Steps

  1. The best place to start is after Lakebed Temple. Go into Malo Mart in Kakariko Village and pay the old Goron that's holding up a sign 1000 Rupees. If you don't have 1000 Rupees, then you can pay him partially.
  2. After the bridge is built, talk to the Goron elder. He will give you a barrel of Hot Spring Water. While dodging the different enemies, run to the bridge and throw the water onto the Goron. He will smash the rock and give you a Heart Piece. If you miss, go back to the Goron Elder for another barrel of Hot Spring Water.
  3. Now you only have to pay 200 Rupees for the store (If you didn't help the Goron as in the previous step, you have to pay 2000 Rupees). Donate 200 Rupees to the old Goron in Malo Mart. This will open up a new branch in Castle Town.
  4. You can now go to a discounted Malo Mart. Go to the center of Castle Town, then go into the new shop and buy the Magic Armor for 598 Rupees. You can also buy other stuff at discounted prices.

Tips

  • If you can't afford to get the Magic Armor first, you should collect Get All the Golden Bugs in Zelda: Twilight Princess for Agitha. One Golden Bug can give you 50 Rupees, and when you give her a pair, she gives you 100 Rupees. This is recommended if you hadn't reached Castle Town yet.

Warnings

  • Only wear it in desperate situations (ex. when fighting bosses), because you will lose Rupees instead of hearts when you get hit. When you run out of Rupees, then your armor will turn black and you will move slowly, just like when you're wearing Iron Boots.

Things You'll Need
