This article will show you how to have Fun on Club Penguin Without Being a Member. Members of Club Penguin seem like they have a lot of fun. They get to buy things and have special parties.

Steps

Making Friends

  1. Make buddies, but think quality over quantity. Find buddies who will be online and will hang out with you regularly. You can have up to 501 buddies on your list.
    • To add a buddy, click on the penguin you want for a friend, and their player card will pop up. Click on the little smiley face on the card, and select "yes" when a box pops up. Wait for the buddy to respond. Most of the time, they say yes!
  2. Befriend one or two buddies who are members. You can get invited to fashion shows, parties, etc.

Enjoying the Games

  1. Play games. There are many fun games for you to play. Try out Bean Counters, Hydro Hopper, Cart Surfer or Ice Fishing. They're easy to play, and you don't need a membership for any extra features.
  2. Play all the games until you are really good at them. Win on Sled Racing on Club Penguin is a great game to pass time!
  3. Challenge your friends to a friendly game of Card-Jitsu.
  4. Challenge your buddies with games like hide-and-seek. It's fun to go into club penguin and hide from someone.
  5. Play more games. With friends, you can play partner games like Sled Racing, Find Four, and Mancala, or maybe just role play and chat.

Being a Fashion Statement

  1. Find clothes, or wearables. Go to the Dojo and earn wearable belts, go to parties and pick up free items, or find free items around the island (e.g., the Book Room, where you can get a friendship bracelet).
  2. Go shopping. The Penguin Style catalog sells clothes for non-members, plus you can get loads of cool backgrounds and flags for your player card.
  3. Go on a non member shopping spree! Make sure you have more than 2000 coins and start shopping for backgrounds, flags, colors and puffles.

Having Fun

  1. Have fun! Invite your friends to your igloo and have a small party! Chat, play games, earn coins, buy colors, backgrounds, find hidden pins, it's almost endless,
  2. Make videos on Club Penguin and become a Get Famous on Club Penguin! You will become popular, and some members will even let you into member stuff for being famous!
  3. Ask your member buddies if they need help throwing a party.
  4. Send invitations to all your buddies to play Sled Racer! Ridge Run is fun to do with a few people.
  5. Dance with your buddies and try to "tip the iceberg."
  6. Try to Dance Funny in Club Penguin! All the members will think you're cool.
  7. Have a Carnival All over Club Penguin!
  8. Be a robber. Include some of the following in your outfit: the color black, black sunglasses, ninja mask, a black belt, or a black puffle. You can also wear a full robber outfit (striped shirt and pants with the black robber mask and a money bag). Sometimes penguins notice and try to arrest you -- it's fun!
  9. Try earning stamps and see if you can collect them all. It's a fun and good way to pass time.
  10. Visit the EPF Agency. There is a lot to do in the command room. You can play system defender, do a new mission and talk in a meeting with other penguins! If no one's talking, try being quiet. You can always reawaken old club penguin times by playing some PSA missions!

Being a Caring Player

  1. Buy puffles. You can't own many, but you can have two, either red or blue. Give them a name and care for them in your igloo.
  2. *Adopt two puffles, take care of them, take them to puffle parties, and walk them around! Puffles are a fun way to enjoy CP.
  3. Get a baby! It's possible. Dress in your best clothing. Make yourself a peach color and wear a belt/shirt. Look for a non-member baby be nice and adopt!

Being a Careful Player

  1. Deal with mean people in a caring way. If a member is mean, then gather a few non-member buddies and protest! Tell that person why what they're doing isn't friendly and is breaking the spirit of the game.
  2. Go onto a different language server and/or ultimate safe chat if you are made fun of and discriminated against. Nonmember discrimination is prevalent mainly in English, maybe Portuguese regular chat servers. You could have fun learning a new language or being creative with alternate communication. And if you're in Ultimate Safe Chat, it's hard for other people to make fun of you!

Tips

  • If someone is really mean, report them.
  • If members ever do make fun of you say " Well at least I'm dressed, unlike you. You're over dressed" That should annoy them.
  • Some would say participating in the fan-community is fun, try that!
  • Girlfriends/boyfriends are cool to hang with!
  • Only adopt non-member babies. The member ones won't like you (no offense).
  • If you play games and collect lots of coins, you may be able to buy cool stuff if you are eventually able to buy a membership.
  • Take good care of your puffles and walk them often.
  • Try becoming a tour guide. You'll be able to take people around the island, and possibly make friends.
  • Try dressing up in your own way. Use party items and items from the catalog, or from codes.

Warnings

  • Don't bother your member buddy/buddies all the time. Would you want someone following you on CP everyday, begging for you to invite them to parties?
  • Unfortunately, non-members are left out of parties, adopting babies, etc. But don't let this bother you! You are an awesome penguin and it doesn't matter how big your igloo is or how many clothes you have. Meet a lot of friends, play games, and basically just be yourself and have fun! You don't need spoiled obnoxious babies drooling or clinging to you anyway, and who cares if you can't wear a wig? A lot of members are more noobish than non members, a lot more than you think. Really, "stepping out of limos" in the pet shop and going to "VIP Members only" parties is just a sad cry for attention. And think about this: everyone used to be a non members sometime. Including members who brag about all their coins and furniture.
  • Don't give out personal information to anyone.
  • Don't be mean to people - this will cause you to lose friends.

Things You'll Need

  • A Club Penguin account
  • A computer with Internet access
  • At least 2 buddies (you don't have to have a lot and remember, quality over quantity!)
  • Adobe Flash Player
