Want your drab and un-fab hair to be super curly and afro like? Take these steps and figure out if you can!

Steps

  1. Get a really great shampoo. Good products will give you the hair you need.
  2. When you wash your hair, scrub it in nice and vigorously. This will massage your scalp and make your hair more manageable.
  3. After you're done washing your hair, put a leave-in conditioner in your hair and comb it until it is slick and tangle-free.
    • Use a wide-toothed comb instead of a brush, as brushes rip out hair if the hair is wet.
    • For the afro part, use: Vita Amazonia Afro Finishing Cream and Afro Detangler. These will make your hair "up" a little into an afro.
  4. Tousle your hair with a wide-toothed comb and comb it upward and up so it will make your hair get some body and length.

Tips

  • If you can, braid your hair while it's wet. Braid it into 8 or nine sections and wrap it in a silk scarf. That way, it won't get tangled and messed up. Then, in the morning, make sure your hair is dry and you take them out.
