Clone Any Pokémon or Item

Ever wanted more than one of a high level Pokémon or good item? One possible solution is cloning. Just follow these steps to have as many Poké-clones as you want.

Steps

In Pokémon Emerald

  1. Go to the Battle Tower.
  2. Go to the PC in the battle tower and make sure that the Pokémon that you want to clone is in a box.
  3. Save the game.
  4. Withdraw the Pokémon.
  5. Talk to the link battle lady nearest you.
  6. Say open level and put your Pokémon in. You may or may not choose the Pokémon you wish to clone. Make sure that you have at least 3 Pokémon not banned in order to "participate".
  7. The first time she asks you to save the game say yes. There will be a two second pause. Don't turn the game off during the pause! That's when the Pokémon is being cloned.
  8. When the box that pops up that says Would you like to save after the pause, turn the game boy off.
  9. Turn your game back on and look in the box your Pokémon was in. It's cloned!

In Pokémon DPP/HGSS (Wi-Fi needed)

  1. Go to pokecheck.org . This is a fake gts web site, and this is what we'll use for cloning.
  2. Change the DNS to the one at the top of that page. This is so that you connect to the fake gts and not the regular one.
    • For DS(Click the magnifying glass)
    • For DSi/XL (Click the magnifying glass)
    • For 3DS (Click the magnifying glass)
  3. Now on your game deposit the Pokémon you want to be cloned into the GTS. Doesn't matter what you want for it since it will be rejected, this means your pokémon's data is saved to the fake gts.
  4. Go to "unclaimed Pokémon from my IP" link under the chatbox in the website.
  5. Checkmark the box which links that Pokémon to your IP and hit enter.
  6. Go to "manage my Pokémon". Skip to step no. 9 if the Pokémon is not hacked.
  7. Under box management, type in "hacked" in the new box field and click create.
  8. Select the Pokémon you want to clone. It will be highlighted in yellow.
  9. Scroll down until you see "send selected Pokémon to box". Then choose the box "hacked" and click move selected Pokémon.
  10. In the existing boxes field, choose "hacked" and click "set as active box".
  11. Click the Pokémon. You should see a screen with all the info. about that Pokémon.
  12. Scroll down till you see a button "download .pkm file". Click it, don't worry it won't give you viruses.
  13. Go to pokegts.us . Now click the button "upload (4th gen)"
  14. Choose the .pkm file you downloaded and click submit.
  15. Now change your DNS to the one at the top of pokegts. This is another fake gts website.
  16. Go to the gts in-game. Make sure the pokegts tab is open.
  17. You'll receive the Pokémon you want! Exit the GTS and enter again if you want more, making sure that the pokegts tab is open.

In Pokemon B/W & B2/W2 (wi-fi needed)

  1. Download Python 2.7. This is the script used to run IR-GTS BW. Preferably windows installer
  2. Download IR-GTS BW. Scroll down a bit until you see downloads and under that IR-GTS BW.
  3. Open IR-GTS BW and set the DNS to whatever given.
  4. Press "r" on IR-GTS BW and then enter. This will alert it to receive a Pokémon.
  5. Turn on the C-Gear. Very important.
  6. Now deposit a Pokémon into the in-game GTS. It'll be rejected.
  7. Get out of the GTS
  8. Go to a folder named "pokémon". The Pokémon you deposited will be there.
  9. Keep it open and go to IR-GTS BW. Press "s" and then enter
  10. Drag that .pkm file to IR-GTS BW. Press enter
  11. Enter the GTS and receive the Pokemon!

Tips

  • Try low level Pokémon to clone with; if it goes wrong, then it's no big loss. Once you believe it's safe, you can then go on to higher level Pokémon.
  • It is recommended that the Pokémon you clone, should hold a valuable and rare item, such as a Master Ball, Rare Candy or PP Max.
  • The held items will be cloned too.
  • You can trade Pokémon from FireRed and LeafGreen such as Mewtwo, three legendary birds etc. to Emerald, clone them there and trade them back.

Warnings

  • You can't clone your items or Pokémon in Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, or LeafGreen. If you try something, it may corrupt your file.
  • Only WEP if not using 3DS.
  • Have a full party while cloning in pokémon DPP/HGSS.
