Unblock Someone on Twitter
Blocked someone by accident, or given them enough time to cool off? You can quickly find users you've blocked and unblock them, regardless of how you access your Twitter account. Once you've unblocked someone, you can follow them again to start receiving updates.

Steps
Using the Twitter Website
- Click your profile image in the upper-right corner and select "Settings." This will open your account settings.
- Click the "Blocked accounts" option in the left menu. A list of all of the accounts you have blocked will be displayed.
- Click the "Blocked" button next to the account you want to unblock. It will turn into an "Unblock" button as you hover your cursor over it.
- Click the "Follow" button to start following that user again. The "Blocked" button will turn into a "Follow" button after unblocking the user. Click this to begin following them again.
Using the Twitter App (iOS)
- Tap the "Me" tab at the bottom of the screen. This will display your profile.
- Tap the Gear button next to your profile image and select "Settings." This will open your account settings.
- Tap "Privacy and content." This will open your privacy settings.
- Scroll down and tap "Blocked accounts." You'll find this in the "Content" section.
- Tap the 🚫 button next to the user you want to unblock. This will unblock the person.
- Open the user's profile and tap "Follow" to start following them again. Tap the unblocked user in the blocked list to open their profile. Tap the "Follow" button to begin following them again.
Using the Twitter App (Android)
- Tap the ⋮ button in the upper-right corner and select "Settings." This will open your Twitter account settings.
- Tap "Privacy and content." This will open your privacy settings.
- Tap "Blocked accounts" at the bottom of the menu. This will display a list of accounts you have blocked.
- Tap the 🚫 button next to the user you want to unblock. You will be notified that the user has been unblocked.
- Open the user's profile to begin following them again. After unblocking the person, tap their name to open their profile. Tap the "Follow" button to begin following that user again.
Tips
- If the blocked user was following you, they'll need to follow your account again.
