Tips

  • Add lemon juice and zest for a little tang, or try hot sauce or red pepper for a kick.
  • Be sure to cover before refrigerating.
  • The slaw will stay fresh for about a week. It only gets better as it sets!
  • Add fried chicken and mashed potatoes to a plate of coleslaw for a good dinner.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours before serving for best flavor.
  • Add purple cabbage for a great visual kick.
  • Cut the ingredients as small as possible so that it combines better with the sauce.

Warnings

  • As always, take care when grating or chopping. It's easier to be proud of your creation if you don't end up in the hospital because of it.
  • Keep ingredients cold until ready for use.
