Turn Off a Personal Computer

Turning off a computer properly can save you heartache in the future. Read this article to learn how to do it.

Steps

1. Click the start button (It is in the bottom left corner of the computer screen).
2. When a box appears, press the small arrow button on the right (its color is red and has a white circle) side of the box and it should give you your options.
3. The options that appear are switch user,log off, lock, restart,sleep and shutdown.
4. To turn the computer "off" you must press the shutdown button.
5. A box will appear asking if you want to shutdown, say okay then your computer will do the rest!

Tips

• Or, if your computer is stuck then Click the big button on the computer itself.

Warnings

• Be careful not to press a wrong button, but it is no biggie if you press the wrong icon.
