Described in this article is an easy, fast, user friendly, and effective YouTube Downloader that is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2000, and Windows 7.  It supports output to AVI, WMV, MOV, MP3, MP4, and many more formats. This article assumes that you have already installed the Downloader.

Steps

  1. In YouTube, copy a URL of the video you want to download to the clipboard by highlighting it and clicking CTRL/C.
  2. Open the YouTube Downloader.
  3. Place a cursor inside the little window that says "Enter a YouTube URL..." Click CTRL/V to paste the URL.
  4. Change the Output format to your desired format (AVI, WMV, MP#, etc.) by using a tiny "pull-down"  arrow at the end of "format" window.
  5. Click the "Settings" button  to notify YT Downloader where to download the video to. For example, Downloads folder, click OK.
  6. Click the Download button. 

Tips

  • Use the AVI output format if you intend to upload a video to the Photobucket.
  •  For the easily locating your downloaded videos, use the same folder (like Downloads, for example) for all future downloads.
