Draw a Perfect Pentagram

Template:StubLearn to draw, with the use of simple mathematics, a flawless pentagon.

Steps

Mark a dot in the center of the paper. Place the point of the compasses on the dot, then draw a perfect circle.
Making use of your central dot and your Make a Protractor, divide your circle into five points. Note that there are 360 degrees in a circle: 360/5 = 72 degrees. Mark your circle every 72 degrees.
Connect each point with the two points directly across from it. Erase the dot in the middle and now you have a pentagram! When it's complete, you should be able to follow the lines continuously without taking your finger off the paper.

A pentagram is simply a fancy name for a five-pointed star inside a circle—if you end up with anything other than that, you haven't drawn it correctly.
It's common to start at the either the top and go down to the bottom-left hand point to "invoke" the pentagon, or to start at the bottom-left and go up to "banish".
Ensure that you have a perfect circle to begin with.
