Bullies can be a real pain, mentally or literally. This guide will tell you how to deal with both kinds of bullies, those that hit, and those that insult.

Steps

  1. If you have a bully that is "all talk and no walk," or in other words, will only insult you, and hasn't thrown a punch in their life, then follow these steps.
  2. Method 1: Intimidate the bully. Whenever they insult you, look at them in the face, smirk, and turn away. That's all. They will take that as you saying "I don't care what you say. I'm too confident for you to affect me." If they persist, you can change the smirk to a raised eyebrow as if to say "That's it?" or even a sort of pity look, like "I just can't believe you are that low."
  3. Method 2: Embarrass the bully. The best way is with a very, very witty, intelligent response to the insult. Something better than "I know you are, but what am I?" More like when they says your clothes are ugly, say their mom's face is, too. Be careful not to sink down to their level though. If they call you a butt picker or some other mean sexual-orientation name, don't call him a pedo-rapist, tell the bully something like "I know you wish I was, and that I could be with you, but I'm a little too straight for that."
  4. Method 3: This one is the most fun! Especially if you have a few friends in on it. Annoy them. Plain and simple. Find something that gets under their skin, and have at it.
  5. What if your bully doesn't just call you a moronic dork-wad, but they actually dunks your head in the toilet and gives you black eyes and stuff? Well, in that case, you have 3 options.
  6. Option 1: Just simply wait until they give you a black eye (a minor sacrifice) then tell the teacher, you will most likely get them suspended, and if it happens again, tell again, and eventually they will either stop beating on you, or simply get arrested/expelled.
  7. Option 2: options 2 and 3 take a little foresight on your part. If you think the bully is some sort of tyrant... eg. he/she scares everyone when they bully, then go with this option: Challenge them. Most bullies like this are big and buff and can't endure anything. So if you are a good runner, or better than the bully at something (unless it is something like sewing or cooking), then challenge them to compete against you. Defeat them, and scare them away with embarrassment from losing to you. If you're not sure you will beat them, practice until you are.
  8. Option 3: If you think this bully is the kind that persists, then the only thing you can do is avoid them and make sure the teachers and your parents know.

Tips

  • If physical problems get too bad, learn how to defend yourself.
  • If people say you are a "tattle-tale," just ignore them. They would probably do the same thing if they were in your situation.
  • Being fast always helps, in case you misjudge your bully and you need to run. It's much better to have them eat your dust than to have you eat their fist.

Warnings

  • In your attempts to repel the bully do not bully them back! You will lose respect from just about everyone, and eventually may even become a bully yourself, without realizing it.
