There's an empty space in your drawing? Why not to place a couch in it?

Steps

  1. Draw three rectangles; as guided in the image. Two short vertical rectangles, and one long rectangle between them.
  2. Repeat step 1, but this time, draw the shapes behind the already drawn ones. Draw them in the direction needed. The further the shapes are drawn, the wider the couch is.
  3. Connect corresponding angles. These are the angles in the similar shapes that are in the same position in both copies. Look at the image for more information.
  4. Between the shapes drawn in step 2, which is the back of the figure, draw a rectangle that is almost three times wider than the horizontal one drawn in step 2.
    • Draw a similar rectangle closer to the front of the figure. Do not make it so close to the front. Try to match its depth with the depth of the rest of the figure (at the hands; the two vertical rectangles).
    • Connect corresponding angles of the wide rectangle.
  5. In this step:
    • Add some colors.
    • Add more details like the legs of the couch
    • Outline the image and erase the guidelines.
