Use the Calculator in Windows 8
Windows 8 comes equipped with its own calculator application. You can change the style of the calculator from standard, to scientific, to programmer or statistics based on what you need.
Steps
- Open the Start screen in windows and search for "calculator." Select "Apps."
- Select "Calculator" with the calculator icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Click on the "View" option in the menu which is at the top left.
- Select the type of calculator you want, such as "Scientific."
- Click on additional options in the new screen. An example would be changing to a measurement in "Radians" if that's something that you need. You can also use all the traditional Scientific buttons like "sin," "tan," and so on.
