Evolve in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

In Pokémon Red Rescue Team, you start out as a little Pokémon. This article will show you how to evolve in the game.

Steps

  1. Finish the Main Story of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Once you beat Rayquaza at the Sky Tower, and see the credits, you will soon be taken to a little short story. About your player returning to Pokémon Land.
  2. After you finish the Main Story, visit Whiscash Pond. North of town.
  3. You will experience commotion. The commotion has Caterpie, Metapod, Alakazam, and a Granbull in it. It is not usual to see the Granbull around, so your partner concerns.
  4. Pokémon partner will have a chat about the assemble.
  5. Click an icon that says that you will agree to Travel alone sometimes, not every time with a Partner.
    • Your partner will stay at a Friend Area and you will be alone. Until, you recruit them in your Party.
  6. Go back to Whiscashs' Pond. Find the Little Cave North of the Pond.
  7. Head into the Cave. This Cave is really small. It can't fit two Pokémon so you know why you need to go Places alone sometime.
    • A mysterious voice will talk.
  8. There will be an option to let you Evolve. You have requirements to Evolve to like :
    • At a certain Level. For example, Marshtomp needs to be a Level 36 to be Swampert.
    • A stone. Some Pokémon evolves in a certain stone. For example, Pikachu needs a Thunder Stone to be a Raichu.
    • A Link Cable. Some Pokémon needs to be traded to Evolve. In the Pokémon Mystery games, you can't trade. So, a Link Cable is a cube shaped item used for Pokémon who needs to Evolve. For example, Onix to Steelix.

Tips

  • Make sure that your partner isn't with you when you enter the evolving chamber. Due to the small space inside there, you don't really have a choice.
  • Find some evolving resources in dungeons to make certain Pokémon evolve. Stones, Link Cables, etc.

Warnings

  • When evolving, you cannot switch it back to its original form. Choose wisely between evolving, or not.
