While babysitting, have the kids ever not locked themselves in the bathroom? Or by accident, has someone never locked the door and then you closed it, not knowing it was locked? Keep reading to find out how to pick those locks, with only 1 or 2 things. You'll need a large paper clip, it doesn't matter if it's plastic covered or metal, but metal would work better. The other thing that you might need, depending on the lighting, is a small flashlight.

Steps

  1. Get your paper clip, and make one bend out of the first loop. Be sure that it's straight, and can fit in to the lock, and goes to the back of the knob.
  2. When you feel like it's straight enough, turn on the lights, and look into the lock, to the very middle. Then when you see a circle with a circle inside it, push on the middle one.
  3. While pushing on the middle, then twist on the knob.
  4. If all steps are done correctly, it should open the door.

Warnings

  • Sometimes, when you pick the lock, then the paper clip will bend, and if it bends too much, then it will be too short to pick the lock, so you should keep on bending the paper clip back to where it's as straight as possible.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 large sized paper clip
  • 1 small flashlight
