The desktop Community Dashboard on wikiHow allows you to customize some of its layout.

Steps

  1. Go to wikiHow Community Dashboard. You can click on Explore option and select Community Dashboard from there, or go to directly to CommunityDashboard.
  2. Click on Customize to open the customization menu. You'll find this in two places: one (labeled "Customize") is directly to the right of the "More things to do" line, and the other (labeled "Settings") is directly underneath all of your displayed apps. They both open the same menu.
  3. Select the tools you want to disable and the tools that you want to keep enabled. To hide a tool from the Community Dashboard, it must be deselected. To show a tool, make sure to keep that box checked.
  4. Drag and move options to your favorite place. To the left of the name of the tool, you'll find handles to drag the Dashboard boxes around. These handles look like two combined arrows pointing upwards and downwards.
  5. Click on the Save button to save your settings.
  6. Pause the refreshing of the numbers on the Dashboard, if desired. Use the "Pause updates" link to the left of the Settings button at the very bottom of the Community Dashboard to do this.

Warnings

  • The items marked "Priority" can't be moved or removed from the Community Dashboard. However, everything else on the Customization list is fair game.
