This article is current as of the Soldier Front T1.40 update.

Steps

Glitch [PATCHED]

  1. Glitching is defined as being able to get into a box, or a generally inaccessible area of the map.
  2. Download any screenshot program.
  3. Assign a hotkey to take a screenshot.
  4. Run at a box (the green container stack in Shanghai, for example)
  5. Once you are about to hit the box, hit the assigned screenshot hotkey.

Tap

  1. Tapping is defined as stopping your Internet (for a small amount of time, i.e. 10-15 seconds) and killing people. This works because if your Internet is off, you can move around on your screen, but not on the enemy's. And once you turn the Internet on, all of what you did will happen (most of the time). If you are using NetSuspender, run "Bypass.exe", then run "NetSuspender.exe".
  2. Tap the standby button. NetSuspender users: tap the suspend hotkey.
  3. Do whatever you wanted to do (ex. grenade 5 people)
  4. Tap the standby button again. NetSuspender users: tap the resume hotkey.

Wallhack

  1. Wallhacking is defined as use of a program that makes other players on the SF game you are in visible through walls. Wallhacking is probably the least blatant violation of SF's rules on this list. When you are tapping or glitching, usually everybody can tell. Wallhacking? Not so much. It requires a bit more work on the wallhacker's part though. Note that the provided wallhacking DLL has been patched, therefore is no longer usable. However, the "d3d8.dll" and "injecTOR.exe" portions of this tutorial is still relevant (meaning the download is still very useful).
  2. Restart your computer in Safe Mode (hold F8 while booting up, choose "Safe Mode", hit Enter/Return)
  3. Place the file named "d3d8.dll" in "C:/WINDOWS/system32". If it asks if you wish to overwrite, click Yes.
  4. Shut down, then re-boot your computer.
  5. Open up the folder in which your wallhack resides.
  6. Run "InjecTOR.exe".
  7. Click "Load DLL" and find your wallhacking DLL.
  8. Click OK, then under "Name of Process", type in "Soldierfront.exe". (Case Sensitive)
  9. Click the "Use Watch" box until it is checked (once should suffice).
  10. Minimize the InjecTOR.
  11. Start Soldier Front, and use the predetermined key (usually 5 or a Function key) to toggle the wallhack on and off.

Tips

  • Also, to have a bit wider range of vision, use the GHT AimPoint, and once in-game, hit H to turn off your first-person gun view. You'll be able to see the entire screen and still aim, shoot, and scope.
  • Grenades and sniper rifles are the most efficient weapons to kill with when tapping.
  • Glitching is very easily identified. If you glitch, people will probably be able to tell.
  • Don't overuse these, please. This is not intended for use every single time you play, and especially not in Clan Battle mode. Just because the Mighty Sad Funpu Chicken (MSFC, the #1 clan in SF) does it, doesn't mean you should too. It's still considered cheating.
  • If someone accuses you of glitching or tapping, and you are, tell the truth. Lying doesn't get you anywhere with those types of cheating, because they most likely have proof of it. Wallhacking, however, is near impossible to prove, so lying about it is much less risky.
  • Tapping takes some time to get used to. Try it out in a Single Battle with a friend or two (after telling them of course).

Warnings

  • You can get banned. If a GM sees you doing these things, or enough e-mails and screenshots of you in a box, under a map, pre-scoping a person while wallhacking, etc. get sent to ijji's SF anti-hack address, you could get your account or even your IP banned from Soldier Front.
  • Never stay "tapped" for more than 10-15 seconds. If you stay longer than that, you will be disconnected from the game, and Soldier Front will shut down. People can kill you while you are "tapped". And if you get killed while "tapped", then you will still die.
  • People can fight back. Always remember that you aren't the only one who knows how to glitch. Example: You are glitching on Shanghai in the large stack of green containers, and someone glitches into the box, knives you, and gets out.

Things You'll Need

  • The Soldier Front hack download pack (screenshot program will be added soon)
  • (optional) The GHT AimPoint
  • Soldier Front
  • PC
