Template:StubCheek kisses are suitable for kissing friends, relatives, lovers and even for some business people, depending on the occasion and location. Cheek kisses aren't intimate in the way that a mouth kiss is, but they're a warm, affectionate and caring gesture that indicates your willingness to be friendly, close and trustworthy with the other person.
Steps
Kissing your lover's cheeks
- Choose a private place if you're shy or worried about what others might think.
- Break the touch barrier. Perhaps take a hand, touch the arm or give a hug before you kiss him or her.
- Start out by holding his or her hands, or hugging.
- Talk first. This is also a nice way to greet before kissing.
- Lean in towards your partner's cheeks. Don't lean anywhere else, or it may prove to be awkward.
- Kiss your lover on the cheek. Press lightly, or hard if that's your style.
- Kiss your partner for just a second.
Warnings
- Probably the best place to kiss him/her is right below their cheekbone.
- Try not to kiss your partner near their lips or ear, as this is going near romantic spots.
