Is the person you're dating wanting maybe a little more than a kiss on the cheek? Or maybe you do? Read this and learn to kiss like a pro.

Steps

  1. Make sure the person you intend to kiss is comfortable with it. You'd hate to be rejected, wouldn't you? Leaning in for that special moment, only for them to lean away and it be awkward between you. Lean in but keep your eyes open and your mouth slightly parted, but not gaping open like a tunnel. If the person you intend to kiss leans to meet your lips with theirs, then close your eyes and open your mouth a little wider.
  2. After meeting lips with the person your kissing, keep your eyes closed until the kiss ends. If you want the kiss to turn into French kissing, press your tongue against their lips if they're closed or into their mouth if it's open. Once you're tongue is in their mouth, find their tongue and gently massage it with your own.
  3. Move the tip of your tongue around the tip of theirs or sort of lick their tongue with your own. Breathe heavily, but not like a dog, more like how you'd breathe if you ran for three or five minutes. A little hard, but not panting. Also, don't be afraid to moan a little bit, but not continuously or you'll sound like a tractor.
  4. If the other person bites you or vice versa, laugh lightly and continue the kiss like nothing happened. If the massaging with tongue part gets monotonous, pull your lips together and twist your head so your lips are tilted the other way or something similar. If you want to stop kissing then, go for it. If you'd like to continue it, re-open your mouth and continue how you were kissing before.
  5. If you want to take a break for a few moments, then resume kissing, simply pull away and smile at the person you were kissing or lean into them and hug them or take their hand and go back for another kiss.
  6. If you want to stop altogether but not break away, simply cuddle for a while.

Tips

  • Make sure you brushed your teeth and scrubbed your tongue before you go to kiss someone, even sucking on a mint or a flavored hard candy or chewing on some gum will help, but fresher is better.
  • If you're a girl, wear a light coat of light-colored lip-gloss, preferably flavored and NOT sticky or glittery. Un-colored Chapstick or cherry Chapstick is also a great thing to use.
  • Don't follow this explanation completely or the person may feel like the kiss is a little routine. This is only a general explanation.
  • Don't be afraid to guide a guy's hands to where you want them. They'll like that you want a little control, but don't break the kiss unless necessary.
  • If someone is a sloppy kisser, don't wipe your face out in the open, it may hurt their feelings. Pretend to yawn and wipe your face while you act like you're yawning if necessary, and then most likely the person will think it's cute that your tired and cuddle you.
  • Try to breathe through your mouth and nose alternatively. Not one the whole time.
  • Petroleum jelly is a must if you have chapped, flaky or dry lips. dip the tip of one finger in it, then lightly spread it on your lips until your lips are soft and plump-feeling. Wipe it off with a strong tissue or a soft paper towel after about spending three minutes with it on your lips.
  • Lean in a little bit but keep your eyes open and mouth open a little and then if they lean in you close your eyes and kiss.
  • Don't be afraid to nibble softly, or lightly graze you're teeth across their lip or tongue playfully, but laugh afterward so they know it was on purpose and meant to be playful.
  • Try a French kiss.
  • Don't go in if your kissing partner is uncomfortable; it's could ruin your friendship.

Warnings

  • You can be bit and can bite. If you are bit or bite someone, don't say sorry or act offended, even if you are. Just laugh for a half second and resume kissing. If it was a hard bite and you or them begin bleeding, break the kiss and just cuddle. The wound will heal in about two or three minutes. The tongue is, after all, the fastest healing organ in the human body.
  • Not everyone has amazing oral health or fresh breath. If it's a problem, break the kiss and offer them gum or candy.
