Do a Secret Shuffle Card Trick

Template:StubThis trick will seem amazing to some people, but it's really simple.

Steps

1. Spread the cards out.
2. Tell your victim to choose 2 cards, or have 2 people choose one card each.
3. Put the deck behind your back.
4. Secretly flip the bottom card over, then flip the deck over.
5. Still holding the cards behind your back, turn around.
6. Tell them to put the cards anywhere but the top or bottom.
7. Turn around, and flip the bottom card over.
8. Shuffle it.
9. Spread the cards out and their cards should be facing the opposite way the others are.

Tips

• Don't try it with people who try to ruin tricks.
• Make sure there is no one behind you, because they'll spoil your secret.
• In step 4, move your arms like you're "shuffling" the deck, and also say that you are doing just that.
• Sometimes the cards will be facing the other way. If this happens, tell them you need to try again.
• If you're good you won't have to put the cards behind your back it is possible to flip a card when the audience is viewing their cards and when you go to shuffle them.

Warnings

• Don't show the secret to anyone!
