If you're interested in learning how to access Android system files from your smart phone, use the Organize USB and Other Cables that came with your phone to connect your phone to the computer. If you don't have the cable, you might be able to find one at your local electronics store. By accessing the Android system files, you can view all of the pictures, music, videos, applications, documents, and any other data you have stored on your SD card in your Android phone. Using this feature can make it easier to clean up or delete the files and media on your phone as well as add music, pictures, and other media.

Steps

  1. Plug your Android smart phone/ tablet into your computer with the USB cable. If this is your first time plugging in to your computer, wait until your computer and Android phone sync. Once it is properly installed, you should receive confirmation.
  2. Pull down the "Notifications" menu and select "Connected as a media device". This will open the "USB computer connection" settings.
  3. Select "Media Device". This will display a check mark beside it. This option will also let you transfer media files from your phone / tablet to your computer.
  4. Double click on your device to gain access to the "Android System Files".
  5. Enjoy.
