This one-ingredient fruit is nutritious for a baby's breakfast or snack.

Makes 1/2 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 medium peach (peeled, seeded, and sliced) or 1 cup of frozen peach slices
  • 1/4 cup of water

Steps

  1. Boil the peach slices and then lower the heat.
  2. Let the fruit simmer for 2 minutes or so.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and leave it to cool for 30 minutes.
  4. Use a blender or food processor to puree the peaches.
  5. Use the mixture within the same day, refrigerate up to 24 hours, or freeze the food up to a month.
  6. Finished.

Tips

  • You can use canned peaches if both fresh and frozen isn't available. Remember to rinse off the syrup and you can skip the cooking steps because the fruit is soft enough for pureeing.
