Make Rooh Afza

Rooh Afza mainly popular in India and Pakistan. It was created by Hakim Abdul Majeed in 1907 It is used to break the fast of Ramadan. This drink is very much popular among the locals of India and Pakistan, as it is cheap and affordable drink, to refresh yourself in scorching heat of India and Pakistan.

Ingredients

  • Rooh Afza, 2 tbsp (syrup)
  • Sugar, 2 teaspoons
  • Mint leaves
  • Ice cubes

Steps

  1. Buy a bottle of Rooh Afza.
  2. Add 2 tbsp Rooh Afza to water or milk according to your own desire.
  3. Stir until it is completely dissolved.
  4. Add 1.5 - 2 teaspoons sugar if desired, to taste.
  5. Add two mint leaves and ice cubes. If desired, you can also chop some pistachio cuts almonds and add them into your drink.

Tips

  • Cut a piece of lemon and squeeze its juice into Rooh Afza to create lemon rooh afza.
  • Rooh Afza alone can be poured onto ice-creams for great flavour.
  • If you don't have sugar, you can also add 1 spoon honey to it.
  • You can also make ice lollies with it.

Warnings

  • Do not use excessive amount of sugar and rooh afza in your juice.
