Blizzards are the ultimate ice cream shake. Mixed with your favorite kind of candy bars, you can have a variety of ways in enjoying this dessert.

Ingredients

Yield: 1 serving

  • 1 candy bar of your choice (Or Bits of Candy)
  • 2 1/3 cups of ice cream, (flavor of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup of milk, (add more or less to change the texture)
  • 1 teaspoon of topping of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon of any half-and-half creamer

Steps

  1. Assemble the ingredients.
  2. Cut or crush your candy bar into tiny pieces.
  3. Get a blender and pour all ingredients, excluding the candy bar, into it.
  4. Turn the blender on for about 30 seconds, add candy, mix with a spoon, and continue blending until you get a smooth texture.
  5. Pour and serve!

Tips

  • If you want your treat to be a little thicker, try putting the finished product in the freezer for a while.
  • You can use Butterfinger, Reese Pieces, M & Ms, Hersey's White Chocolate, Oreo or Heath (to name some examples).
  • Add ice to thicken it.
  • Fudge can be added to increase flavor.
  • Add 2 Tablespoons of Strawberry jelly, 1/4 C. Cream Cheese and Graham cracker crumbs to 2 Cups Vanilla ice cream to make a Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard!
