This wikiHow teaches you how to search your own Pinterest pins on an Android device.

10 Second Summary

1. Open Pinterest.
2. Tap the profile icon.
3. Tap the search box.
4. Type your search.
5. Tap Search on the keyboard.
6. Tap the filter icon.
7. Select Your Pins.

Steps

  1. Open Pinterest. It’s the round red icon with a white “P” in your app drawer. You may also find it on your home screen.
  2. Tap the profile icon. It’s the gray silhouette of a head and shoulders at the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap the search box. It’s the gray box containing a magnifying glass at the top of the screen.
  4. Type what you’re searching for. Try using keywords that describe your pins, such as “recipes” or “lipstick.”
  5. Tap the Search key on your keyboard. Now you’ll see a list of pins that match your keywords. The results likely contain pins from elsewhere on Pinterest.
  6. Tap the filter icon. It’s the three horizontal lines with sliders at the top of the screen.[1]
  7. Select Your Pins. This narrows the search results down to your pins only. This should make it easy to find the pin you’re looking for.
