You can use your Blackberry to make three-way calls by first calling one person, calling the second person, and then connecting the two callers. This process can be done quickly and easily as long as three-way calling is part of your phone plan. If you want to know how to make three-way calls, just follow these steps.

Steps

  1. Dial the first person. To dial the first person you'd like to call, either simply type the number into your phone, or use the trackball to scroll through your contacts until you find the person you'd like to call. Then, highlight this contact.
  2. Click "Call." This is the green button on the left side of your phone that looks like a phone receiver. Wait for the call to connect. You can also just click on the contact or number with the trackball.
  3. Select the Menu key. This is the key that resembles the blackberry symbol. You can find it to the right of the call button.
  4. Choose "Add Participant." This is the third option from the top of the menu bar. Just scroll up to this option with the home button and select it.
  5. Dial the second number. To do this, either type the number into the space on top of your contacts list, or scroll through your contacts to find the person you'd like to call. Once you've found the person, just click on the contact.
  6. Select "Call." Wait for the call to connect.
  7. Select the Menu key again.
  8. Press "Join Conference." This will be the second option from the top.
  9. Repeat these steps to add more callers to the call. Continue calling more users if you'd like to add more than two people to the call.
  10. End the call. End the call as you would end a normal call, just by pressing the red button that looks like a phone on the top right of your keypad.

Tips

  • If a mistake is made while trying to make a three-way call, usually it will disconnect everyone on the phone line, so be careful.
  • This feature is also available when you receive an incoming call during an existing call. The caller you have in call waiting can join with the new caller.
  • If you want to hang up on one person but not the other, do not press the End Call button!
