Scrunching is an easy way you can style your hair if your on the go in the morning on you're way to school, work, etc. It's cute too! It works best if done in the morning.

Steps

  1. Upon waking, take a shower. Make sure you brush or comb your hair before getting in the shower to loosen oils and dirt from your scalp, and rinse using cold water to add shine and to help reduce frizz. Using conditioner also helps reduce frizz and flyaways.
  2. After you shower, turn the water off. Then stand in the shower, and flip your hair over like a rocker head bang to get rid of some water content and to create some volume at your roots. Do this 2 - 3 times depending on the length of your hair.
  3. Don't brush/comb your hair. If you must do so, do minimal finger combing or use a wide-toothed comb. Brushing too much will not give your hair the same effect and it could come out stringy.
  4. Pat the ends of your hair with a bath towel to dry it faster. Don't do any rubbing, scrubbing hair together or anything in that manner. Be gentle.
  5. Spray shine spray into your hair. (Optional)
  6. Once your hair in about 40% dry, it's time to take out the mousse. Any brand works. Squirt an amount about the size of a golf ball into the palm of your hand, and rub them together like lotion.
  7. Flip your head over and scrunch. (To scrunch, grab your hair towards the ends and bring it towards your head. then make a fist so your scrunching the handful together.)
  8. Flip it back up again so that the part you scrunched already is under the rest of the hair. Now scrunch the rest of your hair.
  9. Let your hair air dry the rest of the way. To dry it faster, take a soft, clean towel and place it over your hand. Make a scrunching motion with your hand to the hair so that your just scrunching with a towel.
  10. Also, if you have bangs, now would be the time to style them.
  11. ENJOY(:
