Cold cocoa is a delicious drink using hot cocoa mix, milk, Oreo cookies and ice. It is a great drink to enjoy during summer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) of milk
  • 10 ice cubes
  • 1 packet hot cocoa mix (It doesn't have to be fancy, your favorite will suffice)
  • 3 Oreo cookies or any other chocolate cream-filled sandwich cookie
  • 1 scoop of chocolate or vanilla ice cream

Steps

  1. Put 10 ice cubes, 1 cup of milk, and 1 packet of hot cocoa mix into the blender. Cover the blender with a lid.
  2. Blend the ingredients for 30 seconds on high speed.
  3. Taste to see if a little more milk is needed, or if a little more ice is needed. Make sure the mixture tastes the way you want it. Cover.
  4. Blend for another 15 seconds on low speed in the blender.
  5. Add 3 crushed Oreo cookies and 1 scoop of ice cream, then blend for 10 seconds on low speed.

Tips

  • Use low-fat milk, reduced fat Oreo cookies, and sugar-free hot cocoa mix for a low-cal treat.
  • If it helps use cookies and cream ice cream.
  • The above recipe will make about 2 cups.

Things You'll Need

  • Blender
