Isn't the apple delicious? It's a fruit we all love. We should all know how to draw the apple tree. Read on to make a beautiful apple tree.

Steps

  1. Draw a circle with squiggly edges. This is the main part of the tree, and the squiggly edges are the leaves. Try not to make it a perfect circle: add some variation, make it uneven, whatever. Remember: not all trees are perfect. Then add a trunk at the bottom.
  2. Make your apples! To make an apple, draw a big, curvy 'M' at the top then draw a smaller, curvy 'W' at the bottom. Then connect them with diagonal lines. (See picture). Don't make the apples too big, and draw lots of them. You can draw leaves on them if you like.
  3. Now for the coloring. If you're not looking for an absolutely AWESOME picture, you can just color the apples red. But if you want your picture to look really nice, make the outside of the apples darker, and gradually color lighter, with the center being the lightest. Then add just a hint of yellow. The leaves of the tree will be green, and add some little open half-circles to make it look more realistic. Of course, color the trunk brown.
  4. There you have it! How to draw an apple tree. Hope it comes out OK!

Tips

  • My number one tip is: don't freak out. An apple tree is an apple tree. If you make a mistake, who cares? In my drawing experience, a lot of times a mistake will make the picture look more natural.
