There might be many reasons you want your own wiki... a personal notebook, a work 'Add-on', for your organization... This article will show you how to add one onto your own domain.

Steps

  1. Go into your cPanel for your domain.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of your many options. It should be almost all the way down at the bottom.
  3. Click on Fantastico De Luxe.
  4. Find your chosen wiki. The images in this article will be showing Tiki.
  5. Put in the name of your directory; in this case, it will be wiki. Be sure not to put the /' in front of it. This is what will create your directory for it.
    • It is recommended that you use 'tiki_root' as your name. That is commonly referred to in the setup instructions. This will eliminate confusion later.
  6. Click on Install TikiWiki CMS/Groupware.
  7. Read the next screen. It is just telling you what is going on at that point.
  8. Finish installation. This will tell you what directories were made, your new website/wiki address, admin details.
